Friendly Affects
So often I am unsure of what the future holds
Wondering if it all matters in the scheme of things
Despite the smile I wear inside uncertainty reigns
Then out of the blue you touched my heart
Totally unexpected your words lifted me up
And I realized that I was making a difference
By doing nothing other than being myself
What an incredible reward you have given me
I want to say thank you for opening my eyes
To how important it is to share our hearts
For assuring me in your sweet and loving way
That I am exactly where I am supposed to be
Sometimes it is hard to express in words
Just the way someone has affected you
How much joy they have brought to you
All that they mean in the scheme of things
