Nothing at All

In those quiet moments together
Lying side by side, bodies touching
Fingertips gently caressing bare skin
Lost in a world where only we exist
In the whispers of this hushed silence
Softly love calls our names in unison
Our souls speak what our lips cannot
We become closer with every breath
In a blissful state nearing perfection
Fulfilled and satisfied by being so close
As if we have just made passionate love
Satiated by feeling you lying next to me
I savor the moments spent just like this
When words are not needed to explain
We can hear our love echo in the silence
When feelings are overwhelmingly apparent
Hearts say it best, when we say nothing at all
