Steve Irwin

In my mind I have never known,
a greater one than he, Steve Irwin, crocodile hunter.
The world mourns his loss of life,
on that tragic day, almost two years ago.
Who would have known this great man,
would be died before noon?
Who would have known a string-a ray barb,
would pierce his heart?
We all thought a croc would get him,
are a snake an earthly creature,
but never dreamed a string-a ray,
a deadly water creature, would end his life.
Steve we all miss you.
Did you teach the world enough,
to carry out your life's mission?
I know your crocs miss you.
Are you looking down from heaven,
seeing that your life's mission,
are still being done,
in the way you wonted it to be?
From here to eternity,
no one can ever take your place.
