Heart Dance

Stand still a moment
And listen to my heart beating;
Reverberating, echoing
Whenever you place
Your tender lips on mine;

As we are dancing to the
Slow rhythms of soft music,
You hold me close;
I feel your sweet breath
Upon my cheek;

The essence of your being
Permeates the inner most
parts of my soul;
I become lost in your love.

Sedated, I fall victim to your charms;
I am transcended into a realm
Of heaven that one can
Only imagine exists;

Dance, my heart, dance.
