No Choice
Should I choose love or power?
Why should I choose at all?
Both are mine for the asking
so why should I aim so small?
That love conquers all is acknowledged.
That love can endure is believed.
A love that empowers, is free and is ours
I long ago gladly received.
This love I received from the Father,
empowered by the Blood of His Son,
is available freely to all of mankind
as our great God and Jesus are one.
Should you still wish to choose one or other,
be careful, dear friend, of your reason.
The two are synonymous, together they stand,
existing alone but a season.
Though I give all I have to feed the poor
...but have not love, it profits me nothing
