A Friend of Mine
You are a friend of mine,
we have been together,
through good times and bad.
We've known each other.
for at least ten years are better,
so happy your a friend of mine.
I know you better, but you think you know me better,
but that doesn't matter.
You are always here when I need you.
We have an bond that can't be broken,
your like a sister, if you will.
I love you very deeply,
and I know you do me too as well.
I know you don't like family gatherings,
you'd rather be left alone,
you need some space to think and grow,
and you should try to do so.
Sometimes you feel life is against you,
to many stumbling blocks,
but believe me God knows what he's doing,
in your path in life.
And you being the empathy that you are,
you always feel others' pains,
putting yourself in their place.
And no truer animal lover,
you love all beast of every kind,
you would take care of every animal,
if you had money and space and time.
God bless you for this.
I would love to give you a rose,
but today all I have is me,
to tell you how I feel about you.
If my words didn't rhyme are sounded out of place,
