When I Thought You Cared

Remember all the plans we made.
All those crazy dreams we planned?
Remember that moonlit night
When you slipped a ring upon my hand?

On bended knee you pledged your love.
We were young and both so scared.
I trusted you, I believed in you,
That was when I thought you cared.

Somewhere along the line you changed.
Our marriage vows you cast aside.
You forgot those sacred promises.
And you sacrificed your pride.

You boldly played the cheating game,
Cast aside the life we shared.
And to think I worshiped you,
Back when I thought you cared.
