Froggie Wishes for Starliters

Wishes, the magic fairies, of the human mind, fly ever upwards through the vast unknown , seeking favor from the omnipotent Gods of fortune, reigning high above the azure blue.

I too , would wish upon the evening star , she, that dark horse of destiny. I close my eyes in supplication , and holding my breath cast my wishes heavenward , and with fingers crossed , hope to find they are fulfilled

My bag of life is almost full, it now leaks remnants of unrealized dreams from it's untidy seams, and so I wish not for me, for I seek naught of worldly goods. instead I wish for you, my friends, my fellow journeyman, my peers.

It is a simple wish, threefold, I state it thus.

I wish you health, to run barefooted through the verdant meadows of your summer years.

I wish you wealth, the accumulation of great family, fine friends and blessings sweet,
to share with you, your sparkling autumn wine

But most of all , I wish you everlasting love, the kind that warms the cockles of your heart, and keeps you safe when winter storms blow cold against your house of earthly dreams.

Ah ! Yes, my friends I wish for you

Abundant life, great happiness and enough teardrops to make your poetry shine!

Sincerely Froggie
