The Waterfall
The sounds of the soft cascading waterfall
So peaceful and so serene
The mist softly caressing my face
Just like your gentle kiss
The clear blueness of the moving water
Remind me of your eyes
The birds are singing a sweet song of love
Such peace here I have found
A wonderful place to be alone
My mind to reminisce
Filled with precious thoughts of you
The joy and love we shared
Remembering the day you left
It was time for you to go home
But I know that now in Heaven
More beautiful waterfalls you see
One day we will be together again
Never to part anymore
We'll sit near the soft cascading waterfall
More beautiful than these.
