Hour By Passioned Hour

Here, amidst soft golden light,
'neath Autumn's graceful cover,
I re-commit myself to you,
my husband, friend and lover.

Away from all the stress of life,
beneath God's forest bower,
you hold my hand, we walk and whisper,
hour by passioned hour.

Stop a moment, love, and hold me,
in this wondrous place.
We shall re-capture magic moments
and worries all erase.

Sit now with me, here in soft bracken,
hear the calling of the dove.
The world and all its troubles vanish
as we sweetly sanctify our love.
