The Girl Who Played The Silent Song

whispers of emotions
get tangled in my hair,
when *love is blind*,
when you're not there.

come into my realm!
sit. do look around.
jump into my spirit-
my tiaras, my crowns.

here's my red heart.
touch it. lick your lips.
you're a sweetheart.
or maybe not. bliss?

music's by the window;
i play my silent song.
my fingers on the piano;
i've waited for you too long.

on balmy afternoons-
deep sailing in august seas-
come hold me. i feel you.
you don't need to see me.

i know i really love you
here's my heart, take it.
hold my hand. let's dance
a lovers crescendo 'n pirouette.
