Today I thought of you
The memories flowing
The streams of thought hard to grasp
The dam unblocked by tidbits of info
Through the sounds of music
The memories came loud and clear
Like your words on paper
Touched the heart and soul of readers
Yes Mom , sometimes I miss you
The joy you brought, as the
Three of you sang to us
A mixture of operatic voices
Aunt Margaret, Grandma , and you
The melodies echo clearly in my mind
The heart strings cannot be denied
Your love shone in all you did
The times we children lost at cards
None of you ladies ever lost
Until we learned to read your cards
They reflected well in your glasses
The hugs the stories never ended
The way you all shared your love with us
Nothing can ever take it away
Sometimes I miss you.......
It echos like music in my mind
So very clear with joy and love
The warmth you shared with all of us
