Rebirth
Of what the angels said of this world was true
That it is perishing and passing away
That the humans have destroyed the blue Earth
And that the time has come for rebirth
The humans have wasted away the frame of Nature
And severed the spiritual lines of discourse
They have rattled the very fabric of existence
And made the poor Earth their very own
But the time will come when darkness shall spread
Over the lands and seas and skies
The human race will be brought to its knees
And endless suffering it will see
Science will not know the reasons why
And Religion will only scream and cry
But the darkness shall consume all
All will become darkness, all in all
For from darkness we have come
And to darkness we shall go
The eyes of God breathe in spirit
And the Earth is God’s very own.
