Cherished Memories
All my precious memories will be
Cherish memories of the heart to me
And when I`m just sitting around
And start feeling a little down
I don`t let bad thoughts fill my head
I recall my precious memories instead
They are to me like a healing cane
To hold me up, Keep me from going insane
I think of the precious moments in my life
Like the day that I became a wife
The day I gave birth to my darling baby boy
Then the birth of my precious baby girl, What joy
To hold them in my arms for the first time
Precious memories that are just mine
Their first words as they learnt to talk
Those precious few steps as they learnt to walk
Many other precious memories, Through the years
These precious moments sometimes bring me tears
I think of my grandchildren that brighten my days
Each one is precious and have their own special ways
Precious moments I sometimes recall
From years ago when I was very small
When Daddy would take us for a walk
And we would have a special talk
So many precious moments I shared with my daddy
Till the day the Lord took him from me
Precious moments I had with my mother everyday
And those last few moments before the Lord took her away
I gently put my arms around her and raised her head
Tears running down my face, I love you mom, Goodbye I said
I did`nt get to but I wished I could have said goodbye to daddy
You see those last few moments with mom were so precious to me
I think of the precious moment I gave my heart to Jesus
How precious Jesus is and all He has done for us
The times I thought no one was listening, But He heard my cries
The precious moments when I saw miracles happen before my eyes
There are many precious moments ,We all have our own
We can hold on to the memories ,So when we feel alone
We can Cherish the memories of the heart forever
That `s one thing no one can take from you ever
When we get lonely or start feeling a bit blue
We`ll always have our precious memories to cling too
