AUTUMN'S GARDEN

T stroll through autumn's garden,
Through the heather and the rose.
And marvel at the beauty
Mother Nature still bestows.

I find morning glories thriving,
Cascading down the terraced wall.
Off in the distance I can hear
The lovely Cardinal's call.

Autumn's sun is warm and pleasing.
Cooler nights, a joy to behold.
They're slowly turning all the leaves
From green to red and gold.

Oh, how I love this season,
This magic time of year.
When gardens parade their colours,
Reflecting skies, blue and clear.

I look forward to this lovely time.
Nature's transition with colors bold.
A special time before winter's chill.
A world of crimson and gold.
