Those Were The Good Years

Well The Jetsons show was over, there was nothing on TV
So the kiddies were all sent to bed to dream a while you see

Little Rascals and the Brady Bunch dreamed they were Lost In Space
With one of Charlie's Angels with a big smile on her face

They were sailing on the Love Boat, searching for That Girl they knew
Who was watching I Love Lucy as they were strolling through

When they hear it from a distance that thumping kind of sound
Like Bugs Bunny in his garden pulling carrots from the ground

Just then a shot from Wyatt Earp came ricocheting near
It Woke Up Doc from Gun smoke and singed Miss Daisie's ear

Now when they woke from dreaming they decided to Get Smart,
Mash potatoes for their breakfast and watch Some Hart to Hart

Now when that show was finished , they turned off the TV
And headed to the back yard to play some ball with me
