Bug Flutters

A collaboration by DARLENE and VRIDER combining our two poems:
THE BUTTERFLY and BEETLE and THE SPIDER AND THE BEE

Well,,times gone by
For the spider and bee
They seem to be going no-where
But that’s fine with me
Little miss spider is stuck in her web
Photobucket
With no words to utter
So as he bids her adieu
He hears a little flutter
Then from the corner of his eye
He sees a little butterfly
Buzz Buzz..Hello little butterfly
Flutter Flutter..Hello Mr. Bee
Why do you look so sad?
Well..my friend the spider is cranky and mad
She won’t come out to play but that’s okay
So..little butterfly, what brings you this way?
Well...I was resting my wings on a beautiful rose
Minding my own business you see
When a mean ole beetle with a bad attitude
Started a fight with me
Claimed the rose belonged to him
Now what do you think of that?
Got me riled up pretty fast
So we began to have a spat
I see said Mr. bee
I know where you’re at
Same thing happened to me
Try to be friendly..then WHACKKK!!
You seem really friendly
And I must say..Buzz Buzz..quite cute
So..little butterfly, what do you say
Lets leave these meanies
Flap our wings and fly away
Flutter Flutter..why I would be delighted
So they both buzzed and fluttered around
Together in circles they go
Enjoying each other's company
Off to where the flowers grow
As for the spider and beetle
They can meet their demise
While buzzy and flutter flit through the skies
The spider all tangled up in her web
With the beetle flat on his back
He can roll his dung
While we go have fun
Photobucket

The bee and the butterfly fly off as friends
Not a care in the world bout what they might say
Cause they got each others back
Now this is where the story ends
Cause in the life of a bug
We all need “friends”
