Sudden Eternity

Inside my enormous empty,
no hand to caress my brow,
waves of tranquil, gaping holes,
their motion dreamily slow,
arrive through silent dreams
like whispered sighs of love

The ghost of peace in bliss
lies down beside my solvent soul
Upon lifeless, shadow's kiss,
through the luminous, labyrinth of stars
and the lonely tones of darkness,
timelessness is felt as a last breath

My present, my welcome -
a soft pillow for my heart
In grace, to rest within silence
My soothing space
My enormous empty
My sudden eternity

Along the edge
I follow closely
