TREASURES OF MY HEART
What momma taught me as a growing boy
Will always be timeless treasures of my heart.
She taught me how to live the good life.
She taught me to stay away from sin and strife.
To stay away from all strife, it is impossible.
To live without much strife, it is possible.
The Bible says, ''Train a child in the way
he should go, when he is old he well not depart.''
He may not always live the way you taught,
But it will always be a treasurer of his heart.
The Bible says, ''Where your treasures are,
there will your heart be also.''
So, my timeless treasure is in Heaven
where God will bestow.
Many blessings I have already received from God.
I will receive many more as I walk this sod.
While I`m waiting to receive my timeless treasure
on the other side,
I`m thanking God for the timeless treasures
I`m receiving on this side.
