Three Wishes

I ran to the store
to buy me a chicken
I knew right away
the food I was fixen

I know that life's wishes
sometimes will come true
so I'm boiling this chicken
for me and for you

Now we're both at the table
three wishes we'll make
we'll both wish together
this wish bone we'll break.

Wish one to be happy
Wish two to live long
Wish three for more chicken
'cause this one is gone
