Forgotten Rose

Photobucket

A lonely bud hidden inside
Seeping and left to die
Photobucket
Always missed by morning dew
No nourishment it never grew
Photobucket
Clings to life by a single thread
Wishing to be loved instead
Photobucket
Bowing an praying to the dew of life,
Wanting to release it's tears of strife
Photobucket
Day by day a single petal falls
Soon to be bare hidden by walls
Photobucket
No one sees what this rose feels
No one stops to see whats the deal
Photobucket
Struggling with elements it fights
Looking for that golden ray of light
Photobucket
Can it survive the elements it faces
Scarred stems and color erases
Photobucket
Weak it still tries to stand tall
Wondering if anyone will notice at all
