Desert Of The Heart
The desert cactus missed by morning dew thrives
Why you may ask and the answer is simple
It has a vast supporting root system
And these roots absorb moisture when it rains
Compare this to people and it seems to say
Surround yourself with true friends and family
The rain will fall
Tears will flow
And loved ones
Will share your burdens
Thus enabling your survival
Your blossoming
When the Season arrives
And the Time is right
