Much like a favourite book
I returned back to read
Opening up the cover
As thoughts fill the need
Upon those pages I turned
Reminiscing I surveyed
All the fond reminders
Here your love was inlaid
As past chapters manifest
Thoughts continued on
Those pictures of you
Some I had paused upon
Etched forever in my mind
Words deeply ingrained
In sweet recollections
Indelibly you've remained
Love I had always retained
So much I can still view
Here it clearly reveals
I'm always thinking of you
While looking back in time
The story of you and me
All those yesteryears
Cherished in my memory
