A Fun Day With Songs
I always wonted to ride in the Yellow Submarine,
it would be fun to ride with Elvis Presley.
I would even let Fortunate Son come along.
Now I won't be Cryin' with these guys along.
I would have a whole lot of fun.
Then Elvis started singing Love Me Tender,
and I did start Cryin' but he offered me,
All Apologies so I accepted.
So I went to the ocean Under The Boardwalk,
and watched those surfers hanging a perfect 10, on those waves,
then somebody started singing Surfin' USA and got my attention.
One of the surfers fell off his board and screamed,
Falling Away From Me!
I just laughed at this fun day I had.
Then somebody yelled, hot dogs, hot dogs,
Some Like It Hot, so I ran and got me one,
the man said pay for that hot dog,
I replied, I never promised you a Rose Garden!
So this is the fun I had on this day,
next time you should come along with me!
