THE BACK BOOTH GANG

Jeri-Berry you done wrote
Many words I cannot quote
Short term memory eats 'em up
I jus know wasn't enough

I want us to rock n roll
Remember when we did, soul
We were the bes if you could see
Winner of the limbo..guess who? me!

Now, know that is another me
Back when I could dance till three
Tip the glass n have some fun
I'd out dance 'em every one

Rock n roll and do the twist
Now, ya know, ya can't resist
Use to twist my life away
For my kids in the house, they say

Life was just one big song
Loved em all and sang along
Now I don't do none of it
Back booth girl .. no more 'Ms It'

That's ok, for last I looked
I had the best company in the nook
There's Jeri-Berry, Ompapa and Bubsy
What more could one girl want to see

Oh no! I am in trouble now
I forget dear Froggie...don't know how
It's just she's always jumpin' round
Hard to count her cause she won't sit down

Well, there are more and I suggest
We advertise...the best of the best
For history has said it's so
That 'old time music' won't ever go!
