Open Your Eyes
Looking out my window
as the world goes on by I
tend to wonder why so
many cry.Abused children
reaching out to you,
how can you turn your backs
when you see they're
black and blue.
I have a dream that
there will be a day,no more
hurt and pain will come
their way.The only way this
will happen is if we all
stand and say no more,they
shouldn't have to live
this way.Do your part step up
and report these abusers,
we don't need people like them
running around they're
nothing but losers.
Children need our love
and protection,they need to
know they're safe and
give them loving affection.
Let them not live in fear
if they make a mistake,let
not be abused for goodness sake.
