All It Takes
All it takes is us star liter's at the cafe
To make our website a great pathway
For all the poets to write and have fun
To meet new friends and to commend
We write our songs and poems
In each and every style there are gems
They can be dark, sad, pain. or silly
Some are morbid, while others classy
As poets we know we don't always rhyme
But boy, do we submit our poems on time
When ever there is a Challenge to beat
We wonder will ours win in a heartbeat
Each poet that writes usually chooses
His style, his dialog and his layout pages
All it takes for us to be friends and buddies
And to keep our 'Dear Albert' alive in our memories
So with this thought in mind I will take my leave
And hopefully try and get the ink off my shirtsleeve
Congratulations to all the past and present winners
And my condolences to all past and present losers
