When you can't hear the birds sing or children at play
When it gets harder to hear each day
Some words you miss understand
Some times wishing you could talk with your hands
If sign language you knew
You think it might help you
You watch the rain fall against the window pane
But you don't hear the rain
You can see the wind blow and watch the kites fly
You see the people as they go by
But you can't hear a voice just a whisper to you within
As you ask could you please repeat that again
You try not to go in a crowed room you see
I know as I thank God a hearing aid now helps me
I had to much trauma to my head
Hearing aid could help the Dr. said
For many many years I didn't have one but one day
The money for one came my way
Even with the hearing aid a time or two
I can't hear as clear as you
I thank God for the hearing aid and I pray
For the one's who can't hear God sends help there way.
