Father God I Pray (Written: Sept. 7)
Father God you are my guiding light, you give me hope
and keep peace in my heart from morning to dark of night.
Oh Father without you in my life, I would be nothing but
a grain of sand, Father you place me whole in the palm
of your hand.
I knew Father from the age of two, when I opened my
mouth to speak, it was to ask of you.
Blessings came to me Father also at an early age, for my
grandmother and grandfather were my saving grace.
Father God you were always the anchor in my life, you
gave me hope when I was facing heartache and strife.
Oh my precious Lord, I pray for peace among those of this
land, that they too will enjoy wholeness in the palm of your hand.
I pray for all the homeless and the downtrodden, of those that
are lost, I pray they pick themselves up before too large of a cost.
Father, oh Father give the ailing and the weak, the strength my
Father to be able to stand firm on their feet.
I pray for the young and the old, my blessed Father, I pray of
your love they will be told.
Oh Father, my prayer brings tears to my eyes, knowing Father in time you will help us all too survive.
I thank you Father for your precious son Jesus, for his teachings, his word, knowing he will never leave us.
Oh blessed Father, there’s no end to your gifts, you shower me plentiful everyday that I live.
I thank you Father for giving me tools of great worth, to help me through my days while living on this earth.
I thank you Father for placing good people in my life, I thank you for a loving family, I thank you Father for allowing me to face, pain and strife, for it helps me to become stronger on my journey through life.
I’m grateful Father for all that you give, you make me strong in body, mind and soul and keep me spiritually uplifted through life as a whole.
Thank you Father in the name of your precious son Jesus.
