Belle of Orleans

Speak me patois, belle of Orleans,
stepping chic from limousine;
Sorbet dripping, honey sweet,
is this vignette from a cooking magazine?

Try éclair or bonbon?
Maybe luscious macaroon?
Perhaps gateau is just the thing
to make this Southern lady swoon!
