Like Peaches And Cream

She sits there smiling into the mirror
This lovely girl of eighteen.
Brushing her long chestnut hair,
With a complection like peaches and cream.

She's always been her daddy's girl.
Her mother's perfect little princess.
Tomorrow she'll wed her true love
And wear her long satin dress.

Daddy wanted her to be a Doctor.
Mother wanted, for her, what's best in life.
Tonight, as she smiles into the mirror
She just wants to be Bobby's wife.
