Forever Shine
At last beyond the influence of whispering doubts
You and I have arrived at the gates of meant to be
Once again our lives are driven by desire and destiny
Harmony swells in the building crescendo of sunrise
Time can tell through the struggles we still believe
Here again, lost in your eyes, I see my kindred soul
Here I waited knowing I need your love to be whole
If only in my dreams it would have ended long ago
Days are brighter, raindrops resemble happy tears
Shadows still befall the sunshine once in awhile
Their forces weakened in the wake of a brilliant smile
After all it's our love that makes our world go round
We complement each other and that will not change
Like strawberries and cream, a clear night with stars
Apart still existing, together any dream can be ours
Once dwelling in neglected spaces now we can shine
I'll stand by you through the silence of whispered doubts
Because you taught me about the beauty in love's sunrise
Undaunted by voices of negativity in soul mates I believe
Years have been few, yet I feel we met in a time long ago
Side by side we face tomorrow through laughter and tears
Together our lives stand still, yet the world still goes round
Night falls, flowers blossom and seasons continue to change
One constant remains through time our love will forever shine
