Flying to the Stars

Let this thing I hold between my teeth
Fall to the ground and fade away
This linear that stings the inside of me
And limits my dreams and breathing
This linear of linear time and space
That affects my thoughts and reasoning
A perfect straight line from birth to death
In my mind it forever comes to infect

Let it fall from my teeth and hit the ground hard
And smash into a million bits and pieces
Let it dissolve into the abyss of nothingness
And allow my mind and skin to breathe again
Let me hear those whispers of freedom
And allow them to grow louder

Let my flesh be peeled away from its influence
And transform into a new line and frame
Let me sideways feel a different time and space
And transcend and dive into another dimension

To transmit myself across the blue Earth
In a whisper and blink of an eye
To shake off the force of gravity, and slowly kiss the moon
And to fly past planets and stars, savouring their every mood
And to reach far off and unknown places
Of the Milky Way and the mysterious universe

Let my mind spin in the knowing
Of a different time and place
And let the stars know me by name
Let them call for me, let them call my name
I will come to them now, the linear does not breathe in me
It is now gone, been driven away
And now I can fly.
