Body Heat

She came to me as if out of a cloud,
a mist of beauty haloed her form.
Distinctively standing out in a crowd,
stunning eyes so soft and so warm.

Those eyes see through to my heart
and the heightened rhythm of its beats.
Spikes of passion go off the chart,
calm demeanor her presence defeats.

Her voice lies gently on receptive ears,
so fawnlike it speaks to my core.
Allays all doubts and vaporizes fears,
crystalline and heavenly pure.

The spark of her mere touch raises chills
as my skin reverberates and damps.
Anticipation awakens and desire builds,
on this bit my swollen heart champs.

Oh how I wish I could slip inside
and be in some Technicolor dream.
I’m sure it would be a mind blowing ride
bathed freely in passion and steam.

That touch let me know this vision is real
and I welcomed her into my arms.
Tasting her lips was like stamping a seal
of approval on her consummate charms.

We melted into each other from the heat
caused by two hearts at racing speed.
My dream encounter was nearly complete,
caution’s speed bumps we’d no longer heed.
