~ All For Naught ~

I could have burned my journal,

And the snaps, of you and i-

But all my love for you, stopped me-

Would not allow me, to even try-

Reading my daily reflections,

Eyeing loving photo's, of we two-

Brought together, an enchanted, love composite-

Of, all my love, for you-

I carried it through, our Springtime blossoms-

And through, the heated swelter, of Summer days-

On into the crisp bite, of an Amber Fall-

And our bitter-white Winter ways...

The last days, of our December...

'Tis when, i really knew...

That no matter, what i said, or did-

Forever lost, 'twas all my love, for you...
