Thoughts For Today
Don't press the issue, don't try to make it happen
Let nature take it's course, see what might occur
What is to be will be some folks will say
It's interesting to wait for what actually might concur
Fret not the little things, whine not over the trivial
Accept what you cannot change, change what you can
Do anything you can to make a better world today
For each and every boy, girl, woman and man
Remember to be thankful for the blessings you have
Don't forget the good things, forgive all the bad
Reach out to someone who needs a helping hand
Another friend to your list you might add
Give and you shall receive the good book says
It is more blessed to give than to receive
Greed has bombarded our great world today
Recieving seems to be the way they believe
We can see it before our eyes, the rich has to much
While the poor and middle class lack things they need
It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle
Than a rich man to enter heaven because of greed
We have much to think about as we hear the news report
We still have much to be grateful for and proud of
We need to seek help from our Heavenly Father
And press forward giving and sharing of our love
