That Moonlight Night
The violins held sweet melodies of love
As they serenaded such romantic tunes.
Rose petals fluttered down from the sky
On the couple who danced moonlight’s sonata
Each immersed within each others arms.
'With anticipation's breath', they kissed.
Deeply but so tenderly within themselves
Passion veiled their very existence
Until their vision blurred their reality
And melted their surroundings away.
That night they longed never to part
Each breath, a melody in their heart
Stars twinkling, smiling down below
A secret they’ll forever hold …ahhh
