WIND BENEATH MY WINGS
Hello my friend - it's me again
Just had to send my love
Wanted to remind you that
Your gentle as a dove
When I was out there in this world
Nobody but just me - just me
You can along - taught me a song
Helped me find what was left you see
It had been oh so many years
I had given away all my powers
In a love that He somehow
Always called, (can you believe it) OURS
I was as lost as lost can be
Trying to find my lonely way
Twas then that I found Starlite
I got stronger by the day
I met a few friends who liked me
They picked me up, dusted me off
Told me I could write - just try
It had been a while - it was rough
But when I slipped, you said 'OK'
It only takes a little while
Before you know it you'll write
Poems that make you even smile
I chose a name for my poetry
And it seemed to be just fine
I chose 'God's Little Whispers'
For the words were 'His' not mine
You never let me down my friends
You gave me hope in everything
Each day when I was all alone
You were the wind beneath my wings
That's what it took, for this soul
That wanted so badly to fly
You even taught me that it was fine
Now I can soar so high
Starlite's had some ups, some downs
But ever loyal to the end
Are the people I met here
My true beloved forever friends
How do I say thank you
I've tried so many times
For you have been there each step
Even when I had mountains to climb
We've laughed and cried together
Because we found that we were 'one'
Life has changed for all of us
We just thrive on love and fun
The wind beneath my wings, oh yes
And will be there until I fly
Right on up to Paradise
Behind the veil in God's sky
And we have plans for later too
For we won't ever be alone
We'll need no wind beneath our wings
When we are finally home
And I love you so.......

Now, when I came there were two more who
picked me up and dusted me off - Jeri/Morning Song
and Brenda/BadMac. Since then I have met many
others....but those were the first 3 who I got to know -
some of my family now forever. I love all our Starliter's.
We are all FAMILY....
