YOU CAN REACH FOR THE SKY
So many of us settle for less
When God wants us to have the best
The Bible tells us that and more
I'm sure you have heard it before
Why settle when He offers more
He isn't up there keeping score
All He's waiting for is you to ask
That is no difficult, daunting task
I think sometimes we think that we
Already have more than one could see
That we've been blessed and asking more
Is being greedy and will be ignored
God wants us each to do what we can
To always love and help our fellow man
He asks very little but that you go
Follow him, repent and seeds you must sow
There is nothing that is too high
All you must do is reach for the sky
Living a life of forgiving each other
Loving each one just as sister or brother
Paving the way for the day you can fly
Up to the Heavens to live in the sky
Only God knows when that will be
I just know He'll be waiting for me
He will be waiting for you too, my friend
Always remember this life is not the end
The body may die, but not the soul
You go through the veil and you never grow old
You fly with your wings, walk golden streets
Seeing so many you knew - now can greet
Angels will sing and you will fly free
My friend, I hope you'll be looking for me.
