Inept Animal Husbandry
Did you ever try to shampoo a cat?
Felines tend to have no patience for that.
Try to leash your bird to go for a walk,
your nerves will be rattled due to his squawk.
Fish reject being taught to sit up and beg,
they have real difficulty with no hind legs.
Ferrets refuse to learn how to fetch,
much happier are they to roll over and stretch.
See if you can get a bison to sit on a stool.
He’ll just look at you crazy and continue to drool.
If the above failures have you left in a fog,
go down to the pound, and get a damned dog.
