Thoughts of Fright

Ghosts Pictures, Images and Photos

The things that used to frighten me
When I was a kid
Weren't monsters or goblins
Or things that people did

Sometimes my mind would wonder
What would happen to me one day
If all of my family
Were suddenly taken away

Thankfully those thoughts were fleeting
Not much time on them to dwell
With two sisters and a brother
I have other tales to tell

Most of you do know now
Part of my family tree
Since my brother George and sister Linda
Have written poems of their 'love ' for me

So if you really want to know
A tale that's filled with fright
Imagine waking and seeing their faces
In the wee hours of the night

Written in response to TNLinda and George Langley's enteries to the challenge
