WITHIN EACH BREATH
Within each breath I say I love you
That you are forever mine
I hear you answer back to me
Our love will last through time
Who can know what God has planned
Surely not you nor me
We just listen to our hearts
That he has somehow set free
I think He's smiling up above
And thinking that it's right
We have some one to love now
When we're turning out that light
We've both lived a lifetime now
Yet there is more to live
No one wants to be alone
If they have more to give
And, oh, do you have love to spare
And such caring in your heart
I feel blessed God sent you to me
That we never have to part
We talk for hours and never tire
There is so much to share and say
For we have lived a lifetime
That we must learn to share someway
No one knows how long life is
Within each breath you just renew
You make me young again somehow
Just because I'm part of you
Sometimes love's wasted on the young
For we know the depth's it goes
One day we'll be together, yes we will
I'm sure that God does know
For it is in His Master plan
That we not be sad and alone
He's giving us another chance
To once again find us a home
