Get Rid Of The Advertisements

My autumn cocoon

Autumn night breeze rustles
the gold and rust colored leaves
I am alone with my memories
As delicate as
the petals of a rose
these feelings linger
in a quiet, tender place
I'm left imprisoned
by my reflections
Wondering if I'll ever see you
again in my lifetime,
or just in my memories
How can nights
of such passion
be forgotten?
how does love so deep
become so much pain?
did my heart not
mean the world to you?
how is it I'm here alone
drowning in topaz tears?
your promises to me
have become just
dust in the wind
and though I feel I have died
I know one day
In love, I'll live again
