What are the things in life
You find that steal your heart
Things that make you happy
Reasons you never want to part
I know what has come in my life
And stolen my heart away
It happened when I wasn't looking
So surprising in its own way
When one is use to living all alone
They just live from day to day
Never looking for a surprise
When one happens what do you say
Somewhere from out of nowhere
A love grew and began to be
It had been there for some time
Lying dormant there, you see
Each heart knowing it had found
Another heart that understood
But walking lightly, perhaps afraid
Somehow knowing this was good
But you keep your little secrets
Lest the world not understand
But knowing there will come the day
You will walk hand in hand
And who's to say what's right or wrong
I just know that you did steal my heart
And I'm content to be there with you
Until the time God bids us to depart
I'll love you for forever dear
And that's a long, long time
