These precious girls can steal your heart with the kindness they bring
Each morning they pick flowers and listen to the songbirds beautifully sing
They have a bird feeder that the songbirds perch each day
Just a few days ago some small birds hatched along the way
Each morning they always sit high above on their window pane
They built a wooden house for them to keep them safe and warm from the rain
The two sisters take care of the birds and make sure they have enough seed each day
Sometimes kindness in life with nature and preserving wildlife goes a long way
A few of the songbirds like to perch themselves upon the roses so red
As they gather twigs and branches for their nest to make their bed
The two girls smile to hear the sweet songs of the birds each morning
Some days both of them enjoy the birds so much they begin to happily sing
For a songbird sings such beautiful songs of sweetness and love
As they perch themselves in their nests in the trees high above
