When love comes and your not looking
It is such a complete surprise
You wonder how long it had been there
And you can't believe your eyes
It seems when we go 'searching'
That love isn't anywhere
But just give it to God
And He will answer your prayer
So, I'd been praying in my heart
So pale with love not awakened
I wanted to be alive again
For my heart had been forsaken
Love is not always wonderful
And what we think is forever
May just go away just like it came
You get to feeling love comes never
Such is life for when we search
Sometimes what we are looking for
Is not really far at all
Perhaps just around your corner
Around the corner of your heart
Where you haven't looked at all
May be the one who loves you
Just waiting for the chance to call
I suppose the lesson is
To open up your heart of hearts
That love is there just waiting..
Just waiting for a start
Open up your eyes and heart
Talk to God - He answers prayer
He wants you to be happy
He will send your lover there
No more will you be lonely
He's right there to understand
Reach out smiling so fondly
