Sleeping Next to You

While you lay here next to me
I hear you breathe softly
Your arms wrapped around me,
holding me tight
Oh, how I love you
I'm so thankful you're mine

You wake
reach for me
Kissing me down my body slowly ~ tenderly
Your love is felt within
my soul

Our two souls meet
You pull me up within your being

I feel your love
and I want to call out your name
Instead I'm quieted by your love
Within the comfort of your arms
I lay here thinking
how lucky I am

To be held, and love by
You
My
loving man
