First Love Awakens

With shuddering breath , he held her in the night
Her alabaster shoulders kissed by stars
They visited the caverns of the moon
Then climbed the endless mountains found on Mars

The surf rolled in and kissed them where they lay
Laden with ocean breezes from afar
Soft angel voices whisper gentle songs
As they soared ever upward to the stars

Moons burned and novas streaked across the sky
Soft angel wings beat gentle in the night
Their joy unbridled knew no bounds
The gods had touched their very souls tonight

Earth moved, and all that was, was gone
Dawn came and ocean's winds blew cold
As they sped wildly back to earth
With innocence burned clean from mortal souls

A little shy, not yet quite meeting at the eyes
They played the games that new found lovers play
Then knowing fate had willed they love again
They kissed once more and slowly walked away
