Get Rid Of The Advertisements

Passenger Seat

A vacant sign hangs
On the cow skin back support
Cold to the touch
An hourglass stays supported
Right in the middle
Counting down the days
Till it's occupied
Soon these miles wont be driven alone
Cause you'll be there instead of words
On my phone
Adventures we will take
Stories we will make
To pass on to our new generation
The radio plays
The singing comes
The music we like to hum
My mouth moves
Just waiting for that passenger seat
To serve its purpose
Soon these words wont be sung alone
Cause you'll be there to show me how
To keep a tone
Funny moments we will share
With the same breath of air
To talk about in later night hours
Soon this passenger seat
Will mean so much more to me
