Get Rid Of The Advertisements

As we strolled the boulevard of hope and dreams
our closeness never felt more real
My lovely lady on my arm, romance just seems
to enhance the thrill that we feel.

Talking most sweetly in volumes only we hear
of the life we can see down the road.
Happenstance had nothing to do with our being here,
we both followed the love star that glowed.

I shan’t second guess the hands of blessed fate
that steered me to my amazing lady in red.
I’m no fool, introductions would not wait,
lest you wind up with another lucky man instead.

It matters not what city we find ourselves in
or which boulevard we stroll, we make it ours.
Our ears are not attuned to the surrounding din,
we hear only each others love line for hours.
